Swan Lake and Serenade

An evening of Ballet set to the music of the great Russian composer Pytor Tchaikovsky; one of the greatest classical ballet composers of all time. Neglia Ballet Artists will perform the second act of Swan Lake arguably the most beautiful choreography for the corps de ballet of all the classical ballets, building a backdrop for the Swan Queen and Prince Siegfried’s love story. George Balanchine’s incomparable Serenade will close the program. In the history of dance, Serenade is a landmark. Premiering in 1934, it is the first original ballet Balanchine created in America and is considered a masterpiece. Balanchine’s Serenade will be a milestone for Neglia Ballet marking our first performance of a complete Balanchine ballet.
